Plant after last frost; soil must be warm or seed will rot. Space bush beans 3” apart in rows 24″ apart. Pick green beans when pods are full-sized but before seeds start swelling. Harvest dry beans for seed when pods are fully dry; seed must be dry enough to not dent with a fingernail for storage.
