Vigorous, viney plants produce a profusion of (sometimes purple-tinged) green fruits earlier than many tomatillos, so a good choice for those living on the northern edge of tomatillo country. Sour citrus bite which I love for rounding out the bouquet of flavours in a salsa verde or hot sauce! 150 seeds/packet.

Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost. Sow ¼” deep. Transplant out after risk of frost is over, when plants have 5-7 leaves, spacing plants 2’ apart in rows 3’ apart. Bury stem up to first set of true leaves. Trellis; plants can reach 4’.
