(Not germination tested*) Native perennial wildflower that grows in swamps. Numerous small pink flowers on elegant fractal-like stems bloom mid to late summer. Popular with pollinators. 450 seeds/packet.
*Wildflower seeds tend to have a high proportion of “hard” seed which will not necesarrily germinate even under favourable conditions. Some will never germinate and some may germinate in future years. Partly because of this, our wildflower seeds are not germination-tested. They are all fresh seed from the past growing season.
Need cold stratification, so plant in fall or store moist for a month or so at fridge temperature before spring planting. Plant on surface; the seeds need light to germinate. Likes moist areas. Full sun to partial shade.
