An oakleaf lettuce bred by Frank Morton from a cross between ‘Blushed Butter Oak’ and ‘Deer Tongue’. Excellent flavour and texture, and partial heading at maturity. OSSI Pledged.
Plant in early spring and every two weeks while weather is cool; again in August. Sow 1/8” deep, 1/4” apart in rows 18” apart; thin to final spacing of 8-12”.
